Because your safety on the road is our priority, CANDELA has developed a high visibility non-slip product with better friction characteristics, which promotes reduced braking distance and reduces the likelihood of skidding.
Ascendi (a portuguese asset management company, provider of toll collection and road infrastructure operation and maintenance services) bet with us on this innovative solution and applied it on the A13 – connection to Coimbra, well known for its high accident rate. Result: a 54% decrease in the number of accidents recorded at the site, as well as a decrease in the number of accidents with victims (-67%) and victims (-80%).
